The story:

There is a fruit feeding machine that helped Tou the Toucan start the day with a delicious breakfast.

It broke however, so they need to get down and fix it, before returning, to get that nice, refreshing snack!

(This is however not depicted in the game due to time constraints, so the actual story now is:  I wanted to finally get started with doing jams!)

Currently a biiig biiiig WIP.

Tou Dancing

NOTE:

Though this game has controller support, GUI and menu control isn't implemented yet and can only be accessed via mouse controls.

The music was a last hour addition to the game (literally) and I didn’t have enough time to test it in the web version and it just breaks after a while for whatever reason… So: if you want the ✨truue experience✨, download the win file.

(Also yes, I might have accidentally left the debug in that I used to get the players state- (oops…))

You can see the controls in the settings menu, which you can access either through the main menu or the pause menu.  (Btw: The controls there lie and pressing E does absolutely nothing... oopsies)

I have also included them again near the top of this page with a bit of a more thorough explanaition! :3

That’s all! Thank you for reading! 💜

Tou Running

Known bugs:

    Web version only:

    • The music loop breaks after ~1 minute, making it behave weirdly and making it fully turn off when loading into a level that swaps the music version
    • Pressing the "Exit Game" in the main- or pause menu freezes the game, requiring a page reload to start it again (not really a bug, but still worth noting)
    • setting the resolution in the settings will scale the in game resolution, but not the embedded game making parts of the menu inaccessable. (This can be fixed by toggling fullscreen on by pressing F11)
  • The timer doesn't properly reset when returning to the main menu outside of the victory screen
  • The idle and crouch idle animation after Tou is looking back doesn't switch the animation state properly, resulting in them snapping back to their default idle animation state after the looking back animation
  • The sound and  music slider in the settings are set to 75% per default as is intended, however, those sounds are saved internally at 100% volume and will update once the slider is clicked [SOUND WARNING]
